Sevier County Jail Roster Overview
The official local roster channel is the Sevier County Sheriff's Office Inmate Search. The research also inspected the public OCV feed behind that route, which shows roster entries with inmate names, mugshots when available, booking data, demographics, arresting agency, and charge blocks. The roster is free, and no login was observed. It is a feed/list style search rather than a multi-field form.
The roster should be read as a public jail-record extract. It is not a criminal-history check and it is not a full court record. It did not show bond, housing unit, court date, release date, court case number, warrant number, magistrate, or judge in the inspected entries. For court filings after booking, use Search ARCourts and the Sevier County Circuit Clerk. For sentenced state prisoners, use the Arkansas DOC locator.
The official sheriff site is an OCV/TheSheriffApp build and includes Inmate Search, Jail Info, Visitation Info, Commissary, Inmate Phones, Contact Us, and app features. The Google Play listing for Sevier County Sheriff (AR) describes recent arrests and inmate roster access, but the research did not find an app-only warrant search. The app and web route both point readers back to the same local jail information ecosystem.
Search Sevier County Jail Records
Search by name first. The roster titles generally use uppercase last name and first name, sometimes with a middle name. If a full name fails, reduce the search to the last name or a distinctive part of the name. A new arrest may not appear until booking steps are complete. An older case may no longer be listed in the jail feed but still have court records or DOC records.
- Open the sheriff's inmate-search route or use the official OCV roster feature.
- Type the person's name into the list search. Start broad if spelling is uncertain.
- Open the matching roster entry and compare the booking date, arresting agency, and charge text.
- Use Search ARCourts when the question is about filed charges, court dates, or disposition.
- Use Arkansas DOC if the person has been sentenced, transferred, or assigned an ADC number.
The sheriff inmate-search route appears in the image manifest as the public-facing route for the OCV roster feature.
The screenshot fits this page because it shows the official entry point readers use before moving to fallback channels.
Sevier County Roster Search Controls
The research did not find separate required fields for first name, last name, booking number, facility, or date range on the Sevier County public roster. It found a visible list search and a feed manifest setting that identifies showSearch as true. That distinction matters because many generic jail pages promise fields that Sevier's roster did not show.
| Field Label | Type | Required | Options / Format Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Type to Search / list search | Text | No, unspecified | Searches visible roster/feed text rather than separate county form fields. |
| Inmate list item title | Display | Not applicable | Name appears as LAST, FIRST MIDDLE or LAST, FIRST. |
| Mugshot image | Image | Not applicable | Small and large image URLs appear when a booking photo is present. |
| Inmate ID | Display | Not applicable | Numeric local jail identifier. |
| Charge(s) | Repeating display block | Not applicable | Can show booking ID, statute number, and description for each charge. |
Note: If a record is missing or charge text says N/A, use the booking date and arresting agency to check the jail or court record.
Read Sevier County Inmate Profiles
A Sevier County inmate profile gives enough detail to identify the booking and decide where to verify the next fact. It does not answer every custody question. Bond is the clearest gap. Since bond amount and bond type were not visible in inspected entries, the reader has to call the jail or check the court. Housing unit and release date were also absent, so the roster cannot be used to plan a visit without checking the official visitation process.
| Field | What It Shows |
|---|---|
| Name | Roster title in LAST, FIRST format. |
| Mugshot | Booking image when one is published in the feed. |
| Inmate ID | Numeric local jail identifier, often tied to charge blocks. |
| Age / Race / Sex | Basic identifier fields, not proof of guilt or case outcome. |
| Height / Weight / Hair / Eyes | Physical descriptors shown with the booking entry. |
| Booking Date | Date and time in MM/DD/YYYY HH:MM:SS format. |
| Arresting Agency | Agency listed with the booking, including local or state police agencies. |
| Charge Statute Number | Arkansas statute or shorthand when present, sometimes N/A. |
| Charge Description | Booking charge label, sometimes N/A or repeated for multiple counts. |
| Bond / Housing / Court Date | Not visible in inspected public roster entries. |
Roster charge descriptions are allegations or booking labels. Court records show filed charges, amendments, dismissals, pleas, convictions, acquittals, and sentencing. The difference is important after a Sevier County jail arrest because the prosecutor may file charges that differ from the booking text.
Sevier County Jail Contact Details
The jail and Sheriff's Office share the same official address in the research. The county page lists the sheriff as Robert Gentry and gives administrative office hours. The app contact JSON gives the same address and a non-emergency phone number. No separate booking desk, jail commander, records clerk email, or lobby counter schedule was found.

For a jail log, mugshot, booking record, or inmate file item that is not online, the county's FOIA instruction says to contact the county office that houses the record. For jail records, that means the Sheriff's Office or Jail Operations. For court records, use the Circuit Clerk or District Court clerk instead.
Sevier County Jail Visitation Records
The official visitation instructions are specific and should not be replaced with generic jail rules. The page says local visits must be set up by the inmate. Visitors then begin the visit process, enter the inmate's first name, enter the inmate's last name, skip the inmate ID step, select the inmate name, press visit, and wait for the inmate to log in. If the name does not appear, verify the spelling.
| Item | Official Sevier Detail |
|---|---|
| Who schedules | The inmate must schedule all visitations. |
| Visit frequency | Two visits every seven days. |
| Time window | 2-5 PM. |
| Visitor login fields | Inmate first name and last name. Skip the inmate ID step. |
| Behavior rule | Inappropriate behavior can terminate the visit. |
| Paid visits | Purchased through City Tele Coin after creating an account. |
| Vendor support | City Tele Coin, 318-746-1114. |
The official visitation page content was captured in the manifest.
The image supports the page because it captures the county-specific visit flow rather than a generic visitor policy.
Bond and Holds in Sevier County Records
Sevier County did not publish an official online bond-payment page or local bond fee schedule in the materials reviewed. The inspected roster entries also did not show bond amounts or bond types. Bond questions should go to the jail or the proper court clerk. A court can set cash bond, surety bond, personal recognizance release, or no-bond conditions. A hold or detainer can stop release even when a local bond is posted.
| Term | Meaning | Sevier County Research Note |
|---|---|---|
| Cash bond | Money posted with the proper authority. | Local payment methods were not published. |
| Surety bond | A bail agent posts bond for a fee. | Verify acceptable procedure with jail or court. |
| PR release | Release on a promise to appear. | Court decision, not shown on the roster. |
| No-bond hold | Release is blocked until a court or agency clears it. | Could involve court, warrant, DOC, ICE, or another agency. |
| Detainer | Another agency asks the jail to hold or notify. | County roster did not show detainer fields. |
Sevier County DOC and Federal Search
County jail records and state prison records are different. The Arkansas DOC inmate locator is used for sentenced prisoners, ADC numbers, DOC facility assignments, state detainers, and sentence history. It can search by ADC number, county, last name, first name, facility, gender, offense category, age, and race, and it requires a disclaimer checkbox before search.
VINE is another channel. Arkansas DOC says VINE monitors county jails, DOC custody, probation, parole, post-release supervision, and some court or prosecutor information. VINELink can provide custody and release notifications, including by phone at 1-800-510-0415. For federal custody, use the Federal Bureau of Prisons inmate locator. For immigration custody, use ICE's Online Detainee Locator System. ICE searches may require A-number and country of birth or biographical details, and the locator excludes minors under 18.
The Arkansas DOC inmate search screenshot in the manifest shows the state search channel for sentenced prisoners.
This state locator is a fallback for Sevier County inmate records only after the person leaves the local jail track or appears in DOC status.
Phone, Commissary, and Mail
Sevier County's official app materials link inmate phone and paid visitation services to City Tele Coin. The visitation page gives City Tele Coin support at 318-746-1114 for prices or questions. The app manifest links commissary to Tiger Commissary for Sevier Co Jail, facility ID 281 and facility code sevierAR. The research did not find Sevier-specific fees, deposit limits, kiosk rules, or money-order instructions.
| Service | Vendor / Source | What Was Published |
|---|---|---|
| Paid visitation | City Tele Coin | Create an account for paid visits. |
| Inmate phones | City Tele Coin | App manifest links the inmate phone feature to City Tele Coin. |
| Commissary / services | Tiger Commissary | Direct Sevier Co Jail facility selection found. |
| Mail rules | Not published in inspected official local materials | Call the jail before mailing anything. |
Note: Confirm custody and vendor rules before sending money or scheduling a visit, because roster status and visit access can change quickly.
