Are Sevier County Jail Mugshots Public?
Arkansas research did not locate a statute requiring every sheriff to publish all booking photos online. The supported statement is narrower: booking photos are created as part of detention and law-enforcement recordkeeping, and they may be public records unless an exemption applies. The Sevier County roster publishes photos when present, but that is a local publication practice, not proof that every image must be online.
Arkansas records law: Ark. Code section 25-19-105 generally opens public records to Arkansas citizens during regular business hours, subject to exemptions such as undisclosed law-enforcement investigations.
Booking-photo recordkeeping: 12 CAR section 50-503 requires detention records and says photographs must be taken and forwarded as required by law.

Sevier County Mugshot Access Limits

DOC and Federal Photo Differences
State and federal custody systems are different from the Sevier County jail roster. The Arkansas DOC inmate locator can show a state prisoner photo and profile for sentenced prisoners.
